Music Friyay: The Ventures, Sarah Vaughan, Eric Lau
By Joanna C. Valente
Here’s some music, new and old, you should listen to and check out:
The Ventures - “The Twilight Zone”
Who doesn’t love The Twilight Zone theme song? This song from their 1964 album, Ventures in Space, needs to be on your summer playlist.
Sarah Vaughan - “Make Yourself Comfortable”
Vaughan’s velvety, beautiful voice is perfect for this song, which you should put on during a bath and close your eyes.
Eric Lau - Examples
Lau’s 2017 album is a mash up of electonic, funk, R&B, dreamlike beats. This is perfect to work and chill to. My favorite: “Harps in Space.”
