MAGAZINE SUBMISSIONS:

As of 5/13/22, general submissions are closed. We are currently solicitation only, but if you want to get in touch with us and/or think you have something we would love, feel free to email (editor@yespoetry.com).

-We are a lifestyle art publication that encourages deep analysis and thought, pushing for progressive change and identification. As such, we publish interviews, reviews, essays, visual art, a poet of the month, special features, and themed series as they arise.

-In general, please allow us up to three months to respond. Feel free to query.

-Please send all submissions to editor@yespoetry.com.

-We consider only unpublished work, although simultaneous submissions are acceptable. Copyrights revert back to writer upon publication.

-Don’t forget to include a third-person author biography with your work. We also encourage you to link us to your website or blog.

Poetry: Submit up to seven poems. In the subject line of the email, please write “Your Name_Poetry Submission.” Either copy and paste your work into the body of the email, or attach as a .doc file. We welcome all types of poetry, including visual poetry, collage, mixed genre, etc. 

Fiction: Submit one story, up to 2,000 words. Either copy and paste your work into the body of the email, or attach as a .doc file.  In the subject line of the email, please write “Your Name_Fiction Submission.”

Reviews, Interviews, Essays: If you are submitting a review or interview, please send in a .doc file. We love and encourage long forms, because not everything can be whittled down to the bone. Email us with the subject line “Your Name_Genre_Title of Piece.”

CHAPBOOK AND BOOK SUBMISSIONS:

As of now, chapbook and book submissions are currently closed to unsolicited works.
