Music Friyay: The Damned, Sweet Megg & the Wayfarers, Man Man
By Joanna C. Valente
Here’s some music, new and old, you should listen to and check out:
The Damned - “Black Is the Night”
The British punk band is releasing a 39-song anthology on November 1st. Here’s a taste from it in the form of a new song. It is, of course, a divine goth dream.
Sweet Megg & the Wayfarers - Sweet Megg & the Wayfarers
This Brooklyn-based 1920s-jazz band is a gem. They’re 2017 album is perfect for any dinner party or cooking session.
Man Man - Beached
The eccentric Philadelphia-born, now LA-based band, just released a new EP of two songs, both of which are strange and melodic. My favorite is, of course, “Witch.”
