Music Friyay: The Carpenters, Cass McCombs, Claude Fontaine
By Joanna C. Valente
Here’s some music, new and old, you should listen to and check out:
The Carpenters - Close to You
How can you not love this classic 1970 album? Definitely a great album to make art along with. My favorite: “Baby It’s You.”
Cass McCombs - Tip of the Sphere
McCombs just released a new album and it’s delightful. My favorite: “Sleeping Volcanoes.”
Claude Fontaine - “Cry for Another”
Fontaine is an LA-based musician who released a breathy reggae-influenced song. It’s worth a listen.
