Music Friyay: Lucinda Williams, Jane Weaver, Sandro Perri
By Joanna C. Valente
Here’s some music, new and old, you should listen to and check out:
Lucinda Williams - World Without Tears
Williams is definitely underrated, but her 2003 is an absolute gift - and so timely.
Jane Weaver - Modern Kosmology
Weaver’s airy, otherworldiness is a dream on her 2017 album. Listen from start to finish, and then again.
Sandro Perri - Impossible Spaces
Perri’s soft, folk futuristic sound creates a modern space and playground, once lonely and other times warm. His 2011 album, especially the song “Wolfman,” has become a new favorite.
