Music Friyay: Richard Swift, Garbage, Andrew Hill

By Joanna C. Valente

Here’s some music, new and old, you should listen to and check out:

Richard Swift - “As I Go”

Swift was an underrated musician all throughout his life. This is my favorite song from his 2005 album, The Novelist / Walking Without Effort.

Garbage - “Starman”

Garbage just covered David Bowie’s hit song and it’s a really, really good contender that is worth listening to. Shirley Manson’s got it.

Andrew Hill - “Illusion”

This jazz pianist was a giant who is often still underappreciated. Get to know his work. It’s amazing.
