Music Friyay: Tears for Fears, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, Travis
By Joanna C. Valente
Here’s some music, new and old, you should listen to and check out:
Tears for Fears - Song from the Big Chair
Their 1985 album is a masterpiece that deserves to be revisited. I’ve been replaying it a lot lately, and it’s definitely the perfect soundtrack right now.
Martha Reeves & The Vandellas - Heat Wave
This 1963 album is bound to put you in a better mood. And honestly, we all need that right now.
Travis - The Man Who
The band’s 1999 album seems like it was made in another time, a more naive time. This album is delicate, turbulent, and introspective - and what better time to listen to something like that?
