Music Friyay: Frankie Reyes, Nadia Reid, Alessi Brothers

By Joanna C. Valente

Here’s some music, new and old, you should listen to and check out:

Frankie Reyes - Boleros Valses y Mas

Reyes’ 2016 debut album pays tribute to his Puerto Rican roots and celebrates Latin American music and sound with his instrumental album. My favorite? “Flor de Azalea.”

Nadia Reid - Preservation

Reid’s 2017 album is a gorgeous folk album with tender songs and lyrics. My favorite? “Preservation.”

Alessi Brothers - “Seabird”

I’ve been simply obsessed with this song, which is both romantic and bittersweet.
