Joe Milazzo: That Isn't Dying
A Field Recording
To see people
outside of their structures
you must transit early
or step electric.
So the grass waits
for an unrung bell
in the humid brown-out of its breathing.
So the loose fill
of the concrete sits
for a rapid elapsing
that isn’t dying.
