Hannah Bishop: I Will Never Be a Galaxy
Or Current Bagel Lover
rain sounds like a car pulling into the driveway
then i remember i live alone
i put dust in my tea
watch it swirl and know
i have made a galaxy
Flay Woman
you want so badly for me to be fractal
but i will never be a galaxy
or algae or even a fault line
so take my skin
forgive where it is too loose or too tight
you may hang it on a hook at the end of the day
and wait for nothing to grow from it
